BON-SIMFEST
Our wedding will take place at Mas GRAN de Cruilles,
a 500 year old castle in the heart of the beautiful Costa Brava
The journey starts by flying to Barcelona - El Prat airport
Best Option: Rent a car for the most direct trip.
Public Transit: Take the train/bus via Barcelona and Girona to La Bisbal, then a taxi to the venue. Allow 3–4 hours from the airport.
Recommendation: Arrive early Friday morning (or better, Thursday!).
Travel from Abroad?
We recommend the smallest towns nearby called Cruïlles or Bisbal d’Empordà (10 min with car). We encourage to book your stay as soon as possible since it’s high season for weddings in the area.
Where to stay
The big main event is Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 16:00h.
Date & time
Elegant with a playful festival edge; bring your most extravagant sunglasses.
Dresscode
We love kids but please get a babysitter for Friday + Saturday events. However on Sunday - everyone is welcome!
Adults only
Please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies in your RSVP so we can adjust the menu specially for you.
Food preferences
Please let us know if you’re coming by May 1st so we can save your spot.

Your presence at our wedding is is truly the best gift we could receive <3
Our car is going to be packed to the brim on the way home, so we’re requesting a 'no physical gifts' policy to ensure we can actually fit inside the vehicle traveling back to Sweden!
If you’d still like to give something, we have a honeymoon fund set up. You can Swish a donation to Amy (Julia's sister and one of the Toastmasters) at +46 707 644 849 with the note 'Bon-Sim'. She will be collecting these on our behalf to surprise us after the wedding.
